Directors Vision.
From the very beginning, I knew the exact kind of film I wanted to make even before I touched the script. To make an exciting story full of mystery, wonder and adventure, something I found in the films from my childhood that inspired me to become a filmmaker. Stargazers was my take on the Sci-Fi/Adventure genre from the early 1980s. Not simply for aesthetic, it was to capture a time that allowed for simple storytelling without the need for modern technologies. Instead focusing on what made me fall in love with films to begin with. At it’s heart, Stargazers is just a story about two best friends and the lengths they’ll go to stick together… - Jonathan Brooks
