To produce something that complimented the rich history of the Dome Cinema, we spent a lot of time developing the concept. It was important that the advert evoked that sense of nostalgia and emotion that many of the viewers would be able to resonate with. We chose to write a ‘story driven’ advert to capture the atmosphere and ambience of visiting the cinema. Capturing all the sights and sounds that makes going to the movies a timeless experience…

 
 

Welcome Ad.

This condensed version of the main advert was produced to welcome customers to the cinema before each screening, taking the core of the story to compliment their visit and add to their movie going experience. This ‘welcome ad’ helps prepare the audience for their film and create a perfect introduction to the historic building…

Welcome Screener.

As a way to inform customers about the cinema’ house rules, we produced this simple but effective screen to play before each screening. We had to find a way to deliver basic messages in a personal way that didn’t seem to forceful so that audiences engaged with it. To do this we stripped back the core of the message and allowed our voiceover artist to keep it informal. Then we designed stylish and cinematic animated graphics that had an immersive quality to compliment the cinematic experience…
